Dr. Mayo is a board-certified dermatologist and ACGME Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, with specialized training and expertise in treating high-risk skin cancer. She grew up in New York City and played collegiate golf at the University of Virginia, where she stayed to complete medical school. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Rochester where she served as chief resident, then completed an extra year of fellowship training in Mohs surgery at the University of Michigan. Her focus is on Mohs surgery and associated reconstruction, as well as skin exams and excisions of cancerous and non-cancerous skin tumors.
